Posted by Jeremy on 03-12-2013 10:46:47 EDT
Wow! 2012 ended in a flash and here we are already 10 weeks into 2013 and so much is going on. First off, we'd like to formally introduce Mike Natoli as one of our printers here at the shop. Mike plays in the band Timeshares and will be helping us get everything back up to speed and on track in the months to come. Welcome Mike!
We haven't posted any updates since early November 2012, so here are some prints from the likes of Naked Brewing, Kill Lincoln, Heartwell, Groom Barbershop, Plow United, Brian McGee (of Plow United), and many more to come!

New Prints: Fest 11 and Hot Rods & Hops

Here's two sweet prints from the shop that have been on the press lately. The first is a five color print for Fest 11 and the second is an event tee for Neshaminy Creek Brewing's first annual Hot Rods & Hops car show. Enjoy.
New Prints: Plow United, Mega Mech Clothing, Broadcaster, and Kill Lincoln

A quick update with some awesome prints we've done lately. First up, some zip hoodies from one of our all-time favorite bands, Plow United, followed a print for the awesome Long Island rock band, Broadcaster!

Next up, a print for Drednaut Designs and the ska-core band Kill Lincoln.

Third we have two of the three prints we did recently for Mega Mech Apparel.

Finally, here is a poster we printed recently for Candlelight Records' artist Orange Goblin.
That's a three color print on steel blue, 100 pound construction French Paper stock, limited to 100 and sold as part of the label's pre-order for the band's new record, A Eulogy for the Damned.
New Prints: Negation Delirium, Nomadic Wax, Subatomic Sound System
Posted by Jeremy on 02-03-2012 17:52:44 EST
Alright, Happy New Year and Happy Groundhog's Day to everyone. We've been pretty busy around the shop lately printing some great stuff. Here's the latest from Negation Delirium, which is a sick new Death Metal band out of the Doylestown area, Nomadic Wax, one of the coolest hip-hop labels around that focuses a lot on the growing hip-hop scene in Africa, and their partners in crime, Subatomic Sound System. Check it!

We also recently printed some posters for a featured selection of the Sundance Film Festival. The movie is called Luv and stars Common (yes, the rapper), and Danny Glover among many others. We hand printed 100 two color prints that were used during the festival to help promote the movie. Here's a pic of the poster in all 18 x 18 inch glory!
So yeah, we've been keeping busy. Next up are some awesome hoodies for the recently reunited Plow United, some new prints for Washington DC's Kill Lincoln, and some sharp threads for Mega Mech Clothing. Stay tuned.
New Prints: Smoking Popes Poster
Posted by Jeremy on 11-15-2011 15:22:41 EST
Again, a little late on this one, but here's a pic of the poster we printed for the Smoking Popes/Aspiga show at the North Star Bar a few months back. The artwork was done by our good friend Craig Horky. Check out his work right here.
New Prints: This Is Hardcore 2011 Posters
Posted by Jeremy on 11-14-2011 13:31:52 EST
Don't know why we didn't post these back in August, but here's a pic of the poster we printed for This Is Hardcore Fest 2011. Two colors, 18x24 inches in size, and one mother of a halftone.

New Prints: None More Black
Posted by Jeremy on 11-14-2011 13:23:45 EST
They don't tour a whole lot, but when they do we're super stoked to be able to help the guys from None More Black out with whatever they need printed. Here are three new designs they printed for their recent run down the East Coast.

ABOUT
US
Jump
Start Screenprinting is owned and operated by Jump
Start Records. The idea to start printing professionally was
a logical choice for the label, seeing as for years we had
been printing one-color t-shirts and patches for many of the bands
both on the label and friendly to the cause. We say it was a logical
choice mainly because we knew how to print, had extensive printing
experience in the past, but didn't have a full-blown professional
press, dryers, or other essential tools to run a pro-printing shop.
In
December 2001, after years of contracting out print work, we purchased
a professional four-color press, flash, and tunnel dryers to
help get the shop on its feet. We now have the ability to print t-shirts,
hoodies, and other merchandise up to six colors, and can do so
at affordable and competitive prices as compared to other local
and regional print shops. We also specialize in hand printed posters, record sleeves and inserts, and CD packaging. We cater specifically to bands in the
area, and offer discounts and credit for those that are in need
for high volume jobs and are short on cash. We are a print shop
run by musicians for musicians. We know what you want, what you're
looking for, and we're pretty sure we can get it to you with a quick
turnaround time, solid pricing, and superior quality prints.
If
you're looking for quality prints on sweatshop free high quality garments, you've come to the right place! If quality and ethics are more important to you than the lowest price possible, we offer a wide selection of garments that are sweatshop free, 100% American made in addition to those from all the major mills/brands. Whatever your needs, we're here to help you get the best quality prints for to fit your wallet and your conscience!
INK COLOR CHART
Mixing custom ink colors can be costly, so we use standard ink colors from various manufacturers. This is our current stand ink availability chart. If you'd like to use a color that isn't included below you may do so but keep in mind all custom mixed inks require specific Pantone colors and cost $25 for each mixed color.
We've included the approximate Pantone color for each of the inks in our chart so please use them when designing your artwork unless you plan on using custom mixed Pantone colors in your order. Keep in mind, several factors effect the way you view each individual color like monitor type, video card type and capabilities, monitor color calibration settings, lighting conditions when using your computer, etc. We do our best to provide you with the most accurate color choices but only guarantee exact color matching if you order custom mixed Pantone colors.
